Could be my shoulders and not the strap but weight of purse "loaded" tends to slide this wide strap off my shoulder. I have to continously work to keep it in place, especially wearing a leather jacket. Perhaps a less smooth backing would help. Otherwise, I find this purse perfect! Size, style, material and workmanship excellent and...made in the USA !
Pros: Roomy, stylish, extremely well made
Cons: Strap slips off my shoulder
