Galco half harness with belt clip - Galco Half Harness with Belt Clip

This is a GREAT addition to the Galco shoulder harness line! It solves two important problems if you carry heavy handguns frequently/daily. Specifically, if you carry a SINGLE heavy gun, it is so heavy it will continuously "pull" the typical Galco Miami Classic style rig over to one side of the body, causing the harness to bind the opposite side of your neck, causing discomfort all day long. The ONLY alternative I have ever found is to carry TWO of the big guns to balance the rig, which causes another set of problems due to the additional weight, additional concealment problems, etc. - no ammo pouches, etc. can offset the weight of the handgun. This Half-Harness handles the weight and is quite comfortable, even with an N-frame S&W revolver in it.
The other problem was that Galco did a similar very small rig for the J-frame series, but the "offside" belt (or pants) clip was a disaster - it WOULD NOT hold securely and would let you down frequently, causing (at least) an embarrassing situation that was hard to correct without drawing unwanted attention to yourself. The NEW "Alligator Clip" DOES hold securely, so overall this rig is a "home run"!
