What happened to galco? - Galco Miami Classic II Shoulder Systems

I have an original Galco Miami Classic holster that I've used for about two decades. It's real leather, well made, durable, and fully functional. This model 2 version must be named after going number two. OMFG. First off, it's latigo straps, not decent leather. Second, while the description says with or without optic, that's a lie. Sure, the gun can fit with an optic, but the backstrap is too short so you risk it falling out and shooting yourself. Third, instead of real Chicago screws like the original, this one's held together with cheap plastic nub buttons. That last one is easy enough to fix for about $8.00, just buy some decent screws off Amazon or your local hardware store, but the connector up top is that same cheap plastic and that's not so easy to replace. All-in-all they've soiled their brand and I will never buy from Galco again. Optics Planet at least still delivers quickly with great pricing so I saved nearly half versus buying off Galco's website... sigh, facepalm, sigh...
