I carry a 1911 in a Milt Sparks SS. My 5.11 pants have a mag pouch but when it's hot out (shorts weather) I don't have anywhere to put an extra mag. Just throwing it in my pocket it gets crossways. I don't like wearing mag carrier on my belt. This hit the spot. It keeps the mag secure, concealed, and comfortable.
