Great Produce

I have these tie-downs for two Galdo shoulder holsters. One, for a 3" barrel 629 S&W 44 mag and the other for a Jericho 941. Without the tie-downs both guns/ammo holders bounce around a lot if you are really active. I notice the benefits of the tie-downs most if mountain biking, fishing, or running. If you walk, smoothly and slowly you may not need these tie downs. If, however you are really active, they could be just the thing! One more benefit is, when properly fit, the tie-downs make the entire rig stay closer to your torso and make it easier to keep from being patterned as carrying. I like to carry as inconspicuously as possible. One final note, I found on both rigs that I needed to cut down the longer piece (the one with 4 snaps). I'm 5'11" and 190 pounds and two snaps fits perfectly on both rigs. Very pleased with all Galco products.

  • Simple to use and very effective.
Cons:
  • None, but $ as with all Galco stuff, but you get what you pay for.
Best Used for:
  • Active movement with positive retention

Works as expected

Works as expected. Fits appropriately and professionally made. Good appearance and should stand up to daily use which is to be expected from Galco products and is why I always use Galco leather. All excellent products and you know what you're getting every time.

Leather Tie Downs for My Galco Holster

Fits perfect with my leather (tan) Galco shoulder holster. Now I know my rig is secured while walking through the woods. Perfect addition. The color match is perfect, and the tie-downs are as heavy built as the holsters themselves.

Overkill and Overpriced

I bought a Galco Vertical Shoulder Holster from Optics Planet last year. It was designed to accept a snap on, belt-loop tie down for the magazine holder only. I had to buy this pair, when all I really needed was the one piece (pictured on the right) that fits my Galco magazine carrier. I called Galco, and they said they only sell the Miami Classic sets. Not too pleased that I had to buy this pair at twice the cost. Anybody want to buy the tie down piece for the Galco Miami Classic holster side?
Pros: The part I needed works fine.
Cons: Paid twice as much for one part. The other half was unnecessary.
