Seriously well made. Truly old school quality materials, craftsmanship and attention to detail. Some have said these run a little small. This is not my experience. I wear a 34” Levi 501 and the 34” size Ball and Buck fits perfectly. Be prepared to wear them a few times to soften them up…, they are understandably a bit stiff to start with. Highly recommended! Expensive, but the often misused saying applies here: “you get what you pay for!”

The belt is WAY too small. According to the description it is sized according to your pants size. I wear a 32” jeans and ordered the 32-38 size belt. I expected this to give enough extra length for the shell holder—as is shown in the pictures of the items in use. When the belt arrived it was on the middle length of adjustability and it was several inches too short to even go around my waist. I extended it as long as it could go and it barely reached around my waist. To work as shown in the photos to hold the shell pouch and hang down on my hip I would need an additional 8-10 inches of belt. Very inaccurate description. I am returning the item.

Works as advertised. Wish I knew about it years ago. Simple and effective. As with all Galco products it is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Also, if it keeps your expensive Galco leather in top condition, it is cheap insurance for the investment in holsters.

I have these tie-downs for two Galdo shoulder holsters. One, for a 3" barrel 629 S&W 44 mag and the other for a Jericho 941. Without the tie-downs both guns/ammo holders bounce around a lot if you are really active. I notice the benefits of the tie-downs most if mountain biking, fishing, or running. If you walk, smoothly and slowly you may not need these tie downs. If, however you are really active, they could be just the thing! One more benefit is, when properly fit, the tie-downs make the entire rig stay closer to your torso and make it easier to keep from being patterned as carrying. I like to carry as inconspicuously as possible. One final note, I found on both rigs that I needed to cut down the longer piece (the one with 4 snaps). I'm 5'11" and 190 pounds and two snaps fits perfectly on both rigs. Very pleased with all Galco products.
