It's hard to find a quality, true "high ride" holster. For CCW carry of large sized pistols a secure high ride type holster is imperative for outside the belt carry. I would prefer a little more leather to cover the extra length of my 5" semi-auto pistol, but, overall this holster is acceptable.
Pros: Secure high ride position
Cons: 5" pistols will have a great portion of the barrel and slide exposed below the bottom of the holster. Follow the break-in instructions. The fit is very tight at first
