No range it has about 500 ft range - Garmin PRO 70 Dog Tracking-Training Device

I purchased one, the range across a wide open field was about 500 feet. I called Garmin with the problem, they told me it was a bad.
Transmitter had slipped through. I received a new transmitter in about six weeks. Nothing changed, when I called Garmin back with the same issue they told me it was a bad transmitter that had slipped through and that was it, they did nothing about it.
