Potentially great but terrible software - Garmin Xero C1 Pro Chronographs

The chronograph itself is great. Nary misses a shot. Labeling and Collating the data is not easily done. The Garmin Shot View app is virtually worthless. Shot strings are called sessions and there's no easy way to delete sessions. I shoot and tune air rifles. I don't shoot without the Garmin recording. It eventually asks permission to record over the oldest sessions. If you have a hundred sessions and want to clear 60 of them you have to take 4 button presses to delete each one, one at a time or go into the devices settings and delete all sessions. The app is worse in order to delete multiple sessions you have do erase App Data. Then you lose all session and your login. Then you'll have to sign in again and repair the the device. A total pita.

This thing works great meaning the hardware itself, but the software is complete garbage. I'm back to a note pad and a pencil to record sessions. The data is there but their way to manage it is terrible. All it would take is updating the device and app with shooter influenced improvements.

Great device with unfriendly software. Everything takes wayyyyy too many clicks to modify and collate sessions and data. I'll be putting mine up for sale and getting a FX which dispays BC at various ranges as well. Good bye Garmin. If you don't need BC save some money and get the Athlon
