Ronald's Review of Gear Head Works Tailhook Mod 1 Compact Pistol Brace
Fits well on my B&T APC. Lightweight and easy to maneuver with. Compactness of it makes it easy to store and retrieve the firearm at a moment's notice when used as a home defense weapon. It is easier to deploy and operate as a forearm brace than the SB Tactical but doesn't have the same comfort when braced against the body. Also rubbed my wrist when collapsed but not enough to slow operation of weapon.
Pros:
- compact
- light
- Easy to operate with
Cons:
- Not as comfortable against body
- Hits wrist when collapsed on some weapons
Best Used for:
- range & self defence
- Compact personal defense
- Home safety
