Another win from geissele(with one exception) - Geissele Super Dynamic 3 Gun Trigger

Like My SD-C & SD-E’s I’m a there no other brand of trigger I prefer over Geissele. That’s over POF 4.5,CMC 2/2,BCM PNT, RiseArmament 535?(Their 3.5lb Top Of Line Competition Trigger), FosTech Echo 2, Larue MBT-2S. That being said, this may/may not be the trigger for you. With the lighter spring their u is a what feels like zero creep or at least not enough to be discernible by the human hand. I may end up going with the heavier spring due to the fact when zeroing it the slightest pressure of resting ringer on trigger can cause a ND or a unintentional double tap which I had to hold trigger rearward when zeroing to prevent this until I got acclimated to just how sensitive this trigger was. As while I’m assuming this is my issue due to being unfamiliarity this particular model I haven’t had this issue with any other of the above triggers, and it became a mostly non-issue once I got 3-5mags through it and adjusted to the sensitively i thought it was worth mentioning how sensitive it is to say it will take some getting used to as well as possible swapping the heavier spring in depending on the user to get it to work the way you want. While I very much like this trigger for my 11.5” Noveske that’s set up for 0-250yards I’d be lying if o didn’t say that I’d suggest this for a competition only Gun given that’s what it was designed for n not so much for a all around plinking/do-it-all rifle. Instead I’d suggest going with their SD-E for a SPR-DMR, and my personal favorite is the SD-C for any defensive/all-a-round use due to the slightly heavier pull thats very smooth w/glass like break. As both SD-E&SD-C lend themselves to be much more versatile and Did not require an acclimation period or adjusting the spring weights to safely use like the SD3G did. As this is an excellent purpose built trigger Don’t get me wrong, but personally I discovered it’s not a drop in and hit ground running type trigger and will take either some fiddling with springs based off your gun per the instructions or some additional trigger time to acclimate to it. Gave 5 stars because not going up blame the trigger for user error, but felt even being honest about my experience may help someone decide if this or one of their other models may be a best fit you they drop $200+ dollars of their hard earned money.
