Good handguard but bad qc - Geissele MK4 M-LOK Super Modular Rail

I have purchased geissele products for the past 7 years and have always been happy with them. Ordered this hand guard with same expectations of quality that i have come to expect from geissele in the past. Upon inspecting the hand guard i noticed some really rough machining marks near the mounting area. I thought that it may just be how they manufacture the rail but doing some research online, from looking at friend's geissele rails, and noticing the the machining marks are not uniform came to rhe conclusion it isnt how the area is supposed to be. There is no doubt this is a great and durable product from a reputable company but the quality control on this particular item was over looked. I believe if i am spending $250 on a product that the quality of craftsmanship and finish should be high. I would recommend this product but not this specific rail for the maine reason i stated.
