Dogstar's Review of Geissele Single-Stage Precision M4 Curved Bow Trigger

You can’t go wrong with pretty much any Geissele model . I have 5 guns with Geissele triggers . 4 are single stage and one is a two stage . The single stage triggers I have are flat face and curved , 2 of each . The flat face ones may be a little better for quick shooting but they are both excellent . I have a 2 stage that came with a Noveske rifle . The second stage is definitely a lighter pull but I’m a single stage fan . I realize it’s a personal preference thing but here’s my issue with a 2 stage. On a handgun you don’t want trigger’take up’ . That’s what happens with a 2 stage . There’s take up then you hit the wall . On my handguns and hunting rifles I like to be on the wall immediately , no take up . I like the consistency of having all my guns feel similar . I’m not a long range precision shooter . If I was , I can see the advantages of a lighter pull on a 2 stage . Single stage is probably better for shooting quickly and a 2 stage is better for precision shooting . So figure out what you want to use your weapon for and choose accordingly . They break like glass with a tactile and audible feel .
