Well-worth the initial sting, cheap insurance in the long-run. - Geissele Suppressor Alignment Rod 7.62mm, 17 in

I won't lie, initially I was apprehensive about spending 'even more money' on something like an alignment rod. One reason was I "only" have one can currently in this caliber. While others have reported great success going with other options from, let's say a reputable online hardware / raw material vendor, I had also read mixed success and results by going the cheaper route. Some users who did that had great success, others had unfinished metal rods, etc. I had NO desire of trying to save a little money by turning this into a metal refinishing project. Most importantly, I wanted to be sure I wasn't rolling the dice, and needed a rod I knew I could trust the results from. To each their own!

TLDR: I'm so glad I broke down and bought the dang rod. Considering it's used to test a firearm and supressor setup worth well over $3k, this is cheap insurance for the physical goods, as well as safety and responsibility on the range.

It comes with a great protective sleeve, and two durable Square end-caps, which prevent the rod from rolling around on a table or bench. (A great little touch). The finish is of excellent quality, it slides beautifully into the bore / barrel, and has great, very legible instructions from Geissele.

Very glad I purchased this. Will be looking for another for my 5.7 and various suppressed calibers. It's the difference between luck and actually knowing, plus I can lend it to friends or others at the range if they need some help in the 2A community. Nice job with this Geissele!
