Austin Coleman's Review of Gerber Ghostrike Fixed 3.3in. Blade
TL;DR: Good retention, audible click when re-sheathed, directionally unbiased blade orientation in the sheath. Expected to meet or exceed your expectations.
I purchased the Berber Ghostrike Fixed 3.3" knife to carry on my belt as a backup defensive weapon should my primary defensive weapon fail for whatever reason. It arrived in otherwise traditional Gerber packaging and secured in its sheath. -- Removal from its Kydex sheath is satisfying and easy, yet retained securely enough to not raise any concern. When securing the knife, the sheath provides a reassuring and audible 'click' which is a mandatory feature of a knife of this style. The blade is exceptionally sharp, especially considering the brand and price. One positive I was particularly happy to learn was that it doesn't matter whether the knife is sharp side up or down when securing it into the Kydex sheath. I have however found that acquiring a positive grip on the knife from its sheath is challenging. This knife will not be used for anything other than emergency self defense purposes.
I have found that the Gerber Ghostrike Fixed 3.3" Blade knife has met my expectations as I would expect it to meet yours as well.
