Expert Review Great value - German Precision Optics PASSION HD 10x42mm Schmidt-Pechan Prism Binocular

Really impressed with the clarity on these binos.

Not a big hunter so I hadn't invested in a 8x42/10x42.

I have a nice pair of 10x28 that stay in my hiking pack and a monocular/spotting scope setup for range days.

But I wanted something for either around the house or easy to grab and go. I had gotten my dad a set of Diamondback 8x42 for Christmas the previous year and wanted to try something different.

Now I think he might end up "trading" me when I'm not looking.

I really like the center diopter adjustment and the step up eyepieces. Little features like that really set a bino apart from the crowd.

All the caps and neck strap included are a nice touch as well, especially if this is your first binocular. If I started using these more in the field, I would look into a Bino Harness.

Overall, really happy with these GPO HD 10x42. The quality definitely matches the price, if not exceeds it.

Glad to see another new name in the Optics game coming out of the gate with strong products.
