Good for less than 100 yards - GG&G AK47 Ghost Ring Replacement Sight

I was worried about the ghost ring being so far away from my eye, but found that the ghost ring made target acquisition very fast, much faster that with standard AK sights. However, I think standard AK sights would be better for accuracy beyond 100 yards because you can use the square edges and distances between the notch and post to more accurately position the sights for accuracy.

It all really comes down to philosophy of use. My AK is built with a folding stock and is built for quick handling and not for long range shooting so the sight is a good fit for me.
