Beware of the inner threadings - GG&G Tansition Offset Fixed Iron Sight

Reviews that I have read on this product do not mention that the installation instructions say that installation ought to be done with a torque wrench. Since I didn't have one, and the torque needed to be about 20 lbs, I turned the screws for installation until snug, like the instructions also said. The rear sight went on very well. The installation there was easy, as described. For the front sight though, the installation failed because the inner spring washer broke. It was pretty cheap and even came out with the screw. Well, of course after that, they wouldn't mount. They should have a better design for the mounting system. The package does also come with blue loctite, but that did not solve my issue (and I had the loctite on the screw already per the instructions).

The sights themselves are definitely quality metal. Doesn't matter if they don't mount, though. For that sort of design, these are pretty overpriced compared to Amazon options (and yes...Chinese companies abound on Amazon, but facts are facts).
