It works well enough for me - GG&G Benelli Nova/ Supernova Sling/Flashlight Mount

There is a bit of play after you tighten the mag tube nut, because the little ball that is supposed to sit on top of the retaining pin for the mag cap nut is not set in the bracket quite right. I cannot tell if it is a deficiency of the design or just its execution on my sample. The ball is simply pinched in the opening. This manner of manufacturing is attractively simple in principle, but as actually executed it seems out of place on this otherwise well-made unit. Be that as it may, I put a good number of rounds (1 1/8 oz, 1200 ft/s) through my Supernova on two visits to the range with this bracket, and nothing ever came loose.

I put my TLR-4 on it, which is a compact light. Unlike some reports I have read from folks that apparently used heavier lights on it, there is no bending.

I have long arms and relatively big hands, and I am fine with it being a deliberate reach with my thumb to the controls. With this in mind, the switches on the TLR-4 are about where I might want them. Objectively they are quite far forward and especially to the side. So it you train a lot blinking the light, for example, it's not the bracket for you (but then you would probably use a pressure switch anyway).

I do not use the sling mount on this bracket, and so cannot comment on its functionality. It does not get in the way.

Although it is of no concern to me as a rightie, I should mention that due to how the aforementioned little ball has to align with the mag cap nut retaining pin, the bracket is not really ambidextrous. (I have seen it billed as ambidextrous somewhere.) You can mount it to either side, but if it is not with the rail to the left, then the ball and pin do not align, and the bracket will sit seriously askew and the nut will not be properly retained. So if you are a leftie, it is at best an emergency set-up. In fact, it is so bad I would rather have my light on the wrong side if I were a leftie.
