My gold-standard, go-to bipod. - GG&G Extreme Duty Swivel Standard Bipod, XDS

I’ve had multiple bipods made by GG&G, with this model being my latest. It’s exceptionally solid in its construction, while maintaining a reasonable weight profile. I particularly like the levers that release the legs, as that feature allows you to open both legs simultaneously by squeezing and pulling with one hand if the bipod is mounted in the right way. I’ve also had a chance to own a few of the chinese knockoffs of the GG&G bipods, and they are usually pretty flimsy. Save your pennies and buy the real deal if you’re able, nothing is worse than being stuck in the field with a noisy, wobbly bipod that flops around, snaggs on foliage, and makes you look and feel like an idiot. You might need a heavier bipod than this one for a belt-fed weapon or an anti-material rifle, but for everything that weighs less, this will work.
