Stiff, flipping motion not well machined - GG&G Flip to the Side Magnifier Mount

Super disappointed and took forever to get it - Overly stiff, after finally working the motion I noticed the flipping components had stripped some metal around the locking motion which is probably why I couldn't pry it open. I figured the manufacturer would test the action before packaging and boxing it, but I guess maybe they were in a hurry to fulfill the drop-ship after being backordered for a month. Solid otherwise and have yet to install it, but wish I went with a different brand.
