This mount is well-made, fits perfectly, and allowed me to use a low scope rings while still avoiding the ejection port of the rifle. My Mini 14 is a 6.8 SPC made in 2009 (or thereabouts) and has no problem with the ejected rounds colliding with the scope cap - as some reviews of the earlier Mini 14s may report.
The GG&C workmanship looks great, the finish is excellent, and I'd recommend the mount for anybody needing a Picatinny Mount of a Mini 14/Mini 30 Ruger Ranch Rifle.
