Broke after a year, horrible gideon cs - Gideon Optics Granite MOS Competition 1x 28.33x22.5mm Reflex Red Dot Sight

Bought it in may 23 2025, exactly a year later, while shooting a match, the dot started going on and off under recoil, then completely quit on me. replaced the battery, no luck, made sure everything is nice and tight, still not working. I emailed Gideon about the issue, and their response was: make sure the battery compartment is tight.... they did not apologize about the inconvenience, did not offer help, and they ignored my follow up message. they emailed me back at 10 pm at night eastern time which tells me most likely their CS is overseas. look for a reputable brand instead.
