Pricey, but if you have the lenses that need this, it's like an insurance policy, or an investment. Great range of heights, deploys quickly and locks securely. This tripod will stand its ground like my mother-in-law in an argument. Not at all difficult to transport.

Great tripod, feels solid and has great vibration dampening. Very easy to set up and take down. More expensive than competitors however; it is well worth the price when you see the final results in your images. Its very light yet it supports around 50 lbs and easily handles my Nikon 600 VR and D4s on a gimball head.

My go-to long tripod
If you love filming wildlife then this long tripod is perfect. It will support my big mm lenses without having to worry about falling over. Best price I found here.
