Legacy Reviewer's Review of Glock Tactical Light

Okay, where do I start. First, I wanted the Glock light because I knew it would be compatible with my Glock 22 handgun and my modified Safariland 6280 holster. It's a great looking rig if I must say so.
I do think Glock missed a golden opportunity to impress when it comes to performance. They opted to use a Xenon bulb (which gets hot pretty quickly) instead of a LED. I measured the 60 lumen Glock light against a $40 120 lumen flashlight that I purchased from a sports store and the $40 light was overwhelmingly brighter.
The Glock light is heavier than many of the lights on the market also. When you're holding your weapon on a suspect for extended periods of time, this can definitely fatigue the arms and shoulders sooner.
The laser on the light is great though. It's easily adjusted, and with proper trigger control, very accurate.
The housing is sturdy and fits securely onto the weapon slide rail. I even bumped it a few times just to be sure it could take a light beating and it performed every time.
I do really like the switches and activation modes. The switch is able to toggled without having to worry about the light being turned on accidentally.
All and all, I think my Glock light will suit my needs, but brighter is always better. I think at $290, we could get a more superior light from Glock...back to the drawing board guys.
Pros: This light is all inclusive and fits the Glock handgun perfectly
Cons: It uses a Xenon bulb light
