As advertised, the belt is sturdy. Looks like leather bonded to a backing made of some kind of heavy flexible plastic or rubber. Overall, the belt is a little less than 1/4" thick though it didn't really seem like it was that thick until I measured it. Runs a little large; was advertised & marked size 40, but is actually 41" to center hole. A very decent belt for the price.
Pros: Seems sturdy, Reasonable price
Cons: Runs a little large
