Great backpack. I'm what they call a barrel chested guy and this backpack is super adjustable and configurable to fit my body shape without losing any comfort or storage. At 35L, it holds plenty for gear for your 1-3 day hike while being small enough for day-to-day urban use. If you are out on a hike and are carrying some weight, the ergonomic foam back panel and load absorbing shoulder harness is easy on the back and shoulders so, go take a hike!

My Granite is highly water resistant, even the zippers, using fabrics and technology I don't understand - and I don't need to, it keeps my stuff dry. Its got loads of pockets/compartments; So many I don't think I've found them all yet!. The one can speak to is the dedicated lap-top "Gear-Tec" compartment. Granite say's it will fit most 15 inchers, which I'll take their word on, mine is only 15 inches.

I think my pack model has been discontinued, so I got a super deal on it from Optics Planet but even If I had paid full price, its definitely worth it.
