Good upper receiver. nice fit and finish. - Grid Defense 5.56 Upper Receiver

I bought the 5.56 16-1/2" barrel upper for a MIL spec M4 build. I was very pleased with the fit and finish. Headspace, clocking, etc. are good. Barrel extension has no visible tool marks or small burrs. The feed ramps have no hang ups and are smooth, not polished, but smooth. After assembling I ran the action through 100 chamberings and ejections with no hickups. The M-lok hand guard is smooth with no burrs and tooling marks. All fasteners were tight and all parts properly aligned. This is a great starter for a quick build of decent quality and a good price point. I have not shot it in yet, so I have no reports on barrel accuracy. I also have no bore scope to check the barrel rifling for defects.
