Great little no-time taper mount - Griffin Armament Taper Mount EZ-Brake

I needed a muzzle brake with Griffin taper mount to replace the factory MB on a CZ Bren 805. Came across this new mount from Griffin and decided to give it a try. As with all Griffin suppressor-related products, the machining and finish quality on this brake is superb. Installation is incredibly easy and is this brake's selling point - no shims or timing needed! Just screw it on your barrel, grab correct sized socket, torque to 30-35 foot pounds and you're done. I would suggest using a little Rocksett on the threads, but as I ran out, used some blue Loctite and the brake is holding just fine.

I'm using this with a Griffin Optimus modular suppressor, and it works very well. I can't comment much on the actual braking performance but will try that with the rifle unsuppressed in the coming days. The only caveat I could think of is that as the vents are radial, if you're laying prone, dust/dirt may get kicked up due to muzzle blast.
