The Griffin minimalist stealth flash hider is excellent. The machining and finish are top notch and allow a rock solid mount for Griffin suppressors. The mount is constructed of melonite treated 17-4 stainless steel and designed to handle high temperatures.
The minimalist is still rather large in diameter, so if you don't have a Griffin suppressor then you may be a little surprised by the size. The photos make it appear to be about the size of a standard A2 flash hider, but it's much larger than that.
I was a little disappointed to see that the flash hiders do not come with the timing shims like the Griffin muzzle brakes. Technically flash hiders don't need to be timed, but it would be nice to be able to get the desired cosmetic alignment.
