Jim's machine shop - Grizzly Industrial Lathe w/Milling Head

I recently purchased this product, and within the first week I had some gears come loose and tear of some teeth. I was sent new ones only to have this happen again. I was sent new ones a third time and could not get it to operate without excessive noise.

I phone technical support, and the decision was made to send it back for their evaluation.

As I was cleaning and preparing it for shipping, I decided to tilt the mill head to see how it looked and discovered that when the head was tilted and I attempted to operate the downfeed handle it hit the mill column. Another thing I discovered was that when it was in this position there was virtually not enough room between the cutter and the mill vise to properly utilize this feature.

Very disappointed in this purchase.
