Birdshot's Review of Guardian Angel Elite Series Wearable Safety Lights, Type-C Charging

This little light is amazing! I’m a law enforcement officer that gets to work the night shift. I have owned many different lapel and pocket lights over the years. Some I really liked and some that were just ok. It’s extremely handy to have the light mounted to your lapel. No more lost 50-100 dollar lights out of your pocket. And it keeps your hands free to do whatever is needed. When I first seen this Gaurdian Angel, I liked the idea of having the warning light on the rear section, but was afraid that it might feel bulky sitting on your shoulder. This thing is not very big, but extremely bright. I have been wearing a Streamlight lapel light for the last 3 years or so, and loved it. Maybe seemed a little bit brighter white light, but maybe the beam was more focused. I use the GA every time I exit my patrol vehicle. The buttons are easy to navigate with just a little practice. The blue lights to the rear have several patterns to chose from and can be seen from a great distance at nighttime. I really think that this light has made nighttime traffic stops safer for me. You can choose from a red light in the front, an arrow pattern white light, flashing white light, or a flood white light with just a simple press of the F button. The same with the rear blue lights. Flashing, direction arrow, or steady on (cruise). I love the small center button. You press it once and the red light comes on in the front. You press it twice and just the white light in the front. But the one I use the most- hold down the center button and steady white light to the front and flashing blue light to the rear. Simple and fast! I wish this light would have been available years ago. If you work nights in a first responder role, get you one of these. You won’t be disappointed! A little bit pricey, but IMHO worth it! Footnote- the magnet that comes with it is really strong and will keep it on your shoulder without moving, unless you get in a fight or something where you’re knocked to the ground or wrestling. I ordered the lapel mount. It’s not going anywhere!
