Sturdy, much less expensive than a suppressor. works with 9mm. - Guntec USA AR-15 Slim Line/Micro Cone Flash Can

I have two linear compensators: the Guntec AR 15 Slim line micro, and the Kaw Valley Precision XL Slim. I use them on a Ruger PC Charger 9mm and a Stribog SP9A3G 9mm.

They both improve blast and recoil experience for the shooter. There is no noticeable difference in performance.

The Guntec is shorter and wider and noticeably heavier. The KVP XL Slim is longer, narrower and noticeably lighter.

I haven't banged on them, but the guntec seems a lot more durable and impact-resistant than the KVP. I haven't cleaned either one, but the guntec seem a lot easier to clean.

Since the guntec and the KVP together cost less than 1/20th of a suppressor, I recommend getting them both.

If youre buying for a recreational rifle or PCC, you will be happy with either one.

If youre buying for a working rifle and you expect to break glass or other barriers, I recommend the Guntec.

But if youre buying for a handgun, I recommend the KVP.
