I have two severe cases of astigmatism, one in each eye. I'm very nearsighted and everything beyond six feet is blurry. Normally I would need corrective lenses in order to view a target well enough to be sure of what I'm aiming at, but these sights have two small, selectable apertures that make target acquisition far easier for me. Each of the small apertures focus my vision well enough that I don't need to wear eyeglasses or use a scope. I can't use a red dot because my condition causes multiple copies of the laser light to appear stacked up on one another, making the dot 3 times larger than what it is. For me, this sight is a game changer, as I no longer need the assistance of lenses in order to have confidence in what I'm targeting. It has given me back my ability to reliably shoot with iron sights, which is a good feeling. This is the best hundred dollars I've ever spent.
