I bought this for my mom to store her sidearm when the grandchildren were around. Programming the combination was a breeze. She was able to access the vault with both the key and the combination panel fairly easily. The cable appeared a little flimsy but I didn't try to cut it so I really don't know. I would recommend this for those who need to secure their sidearm at home or away.
