Excellent outdoorsman boot! - Hanwag Trapper Top GTX Backpacking Boots - Men's

I am a high end footwear fan. Red Wing, Scarpa, Asolo, Ariat, Technica, LaSportiva and Danner are some of the footwear companies that build the shoes I wear on a regular basis. This is my first pair of Hanwags and I can confidently say that they belong on the top shelf! The fit is true to size. The sole rocker is perfect. The quality of construction is remarkable. They are lightweight, comfortable and warm without getting hot or clammy ( like many Gore-Tex boots do ). There are lots of boots that cost less than these but I truly feel that these are a value. I expect to get decades of use out of the versatile boots!
