Butch's Review of Hawke Sport HD IR 3-9x40 AO Rifle Scope, Mil-Dot reticle

Mounted the scope on a Gamo Fusion Pro .177. I am not sure If It was defective out of the box or if it failed within only a few shots. The scope would not adjust vertically. I was impressed with the clarity and features considering the price.
Pros:
  • Good clarity, nice features and the finish was good. The price was rights as well.
Cons:
  • Either the scope does not hold up to the recoil of magnum spring-piston air rifles or its quality was lacking. Not sure which.
