The scope is a premium price and the optics are very good with bright clear view. The scope performance is good on target -for the first two weeks.I'm very disappointed with the lens covers. The plastic used for the lens covers is defective and distorts the target so the lens cover must be removed in order to view a target with the scope. The ocular lens cover is tinted yellow
and the objective cover is clear. Both caps have plastic defects that distort the view so the covers must always be removed when using the scope.The high cost of the scope would suggest the covers would be higher quality. I will request a replacement lens cover set and see what happens. I have purchased nearly a dozen scopes and never found lens cover defects like this before, but this was my first Hawke scope. Objective focus parallax ring is very stiff to move. Does not come with rings.
