An exciting scope - Hawke Sport Optics Frontier 30 Side Focus 2.5-15x50 Rifle Scope 30mm Tube Second Focal Plane

I bought this scope a few months ago and have finally got around to writing a review.
Firstly, I was amazed when I unboxed it. The difference in clarity to my sidewinder was very noticeable. I have long been a fan of the Bushnell 6500's. I have a 2.5 -16 x 42 on my CZ 455.
The glass on the Frontier is as good. Currently better as I need to clean the Bushnell's lenses. I suspect the glass may be made by the same Japanese company Deon. Perhaps I'm wrong.
It is a joy to use. Parallax adjustment is firm, as is the power dial. Both smooth. Love the illumination rheostat. Go one way for minimum setting or one turn the other for full power.
My choice was the illuminated target dot. The dot is tiny but obvious. Great for pigeons and rats in dark buildings. This one will focus at 10 yards.
Crystal clear optics from centre to the outside edge of the reticle.. Thats a big thing. Tracks flawlessly around the target.Top marks to Hawke.
It sits now proudly upon my Air Arms S510 Carbine PCP. They were made for each other. Sleek, reliable and lightweight. Go buy one and give the varmints a day to remember.
