Check out throughly before mounting - Hawke Sport Optics Sidewinder 30 4-16x50mm Side Focus Rifle Scope 30mm Tube Second Focal Plane

I purchased this scope and after mounting realized it would not focus properly. Not that it was not lining up with the yardage marks on the wheel but it was way off. Called Optics Planet and was told they're policy is no returns on mounted scope was told to contact Hawke. Called them and got a RMA number and sent it in. Have not received it back yet. Hopefully they will repair or replace it so it is useable for my intended purpose of field target competition. I need it to focus prpoerly for an accurate range estimation. I purchased a 8-32 SW also and am happy with it so far.
