Great scope, well built. - Hawke Sport Optics Sport HD Rifle Scope 4-12x50 Mil Dot IR

First off this scope is a winner. I have 4 scopes, 3 of which are less expensive and 1 I got after this one which is the same scope just the AO version (which says allot for Hawke scopes if I bought another one within a week).
At first I was hesitant because my other scopes got worse the more they cost: Optima $35 - was best, Tasco $79 - close second, Cabela's $110 - not great; optics got fuzzy as magnification went up .
The reason I pulled the trigger on this was I didn't read any bad reviews. As soon as I opened the box I could tell it was good just by look and feel. The optics are clear and crisp but were it really shines is during dusk or overcast days. I was shooting at dusk once and it was getting a little tough to see the target so I turned on the IR this made a big difference. What impressed me was I looked for the target without the scope and couldn't even see it, time to wrap it up. The more I use it the more I contemplate on getting the Airmax EV for the Map 6 reticule.
