I run this on an AR and have great results at targets out to 100 yds. The battery life is good. I switched to a lithium Energizer for the second battery change and hoping this will give excellent battery life. It stays in adjustment and the optics are clear and not tinted like some cheaper brands. I use a .75" riser mount and the optic sits perfect height on my 16" barrel AR carbine.
