Christopher OConnor's Review of Hazard 4 Heavy Water Diver Arid B Unisex Analog Watch

Ok, so after wearing this watch for a few weeks I’m used to the size of it. It is very light for how big it is. Took me a while before it felt comfortable. I have an Omega Seamaster that I wear quite a bit and this thing dwarfs it. I thought at first it wasn’t keeping great time. Maybe it was me but I thought it was decreasing one minute about every four days but for some reason I don’t think that is accurate. Maybe I’m being hyper critical of it because it wasn’t cheap however half the price of my omega I’m still expecting an 700 plus dollar watch (minus the coupon of course) to keep excellent time. I was extremely underwhelmed by the packaging, the case is cool but it was just kind of tossed in there with a manual and nothing else. For the money I expected it to be a little better represented. Again maybe I’m spoiled by my omega but for all intents and purposes this watch is very cool. The tritium glows like trijicon night sights do and the finish is holding up and I have already run it through it’s paces (no scratches or knicks). Yet. All in all I’m pleased with the watch so far. I recommend it however if your unsure try to find one out there somewhere so you can get your hands on it before you spend the $. I googled pics and saw how large it is on other’s arms (my wife says it’s obnoxious) but I have an FDE addiction and this watch def scratches that itch. Hope this helps.
Pros:
  • Light weight, keeping good time, durable, tritium glows very well
Cons:
  • Probably too much money, date window is very small,
Best Used for:
  • On duty, recreational diving, military use
Would Recommend: Yes
