Hk universal lem trigger review - Heckler & Koch Universal LE Modification Trigger Kit, HK USP/USP Compact/HK45/HK45 Compact

My first pistol ever was an HK USP. When the VP9 came out, I bought one and used it exclusively. I recently got an HK USP Compact for conceal carry and dropped the Universal LEM into it. I like it so much that I am getting another one for my full size USP.

The easiest way to describe this trigger to someone who has not tried it is to compare it to a 2 stage trigger. There is a very light short take up (about 1-1/2 cm) until you hit “the wall” before the trigger breaks. The break (which is a further 1 to 1-1/2 mm of movement) is crisp with minimal over travel. After the round goes off, the trigger is reset again if you let off about 1-1/2 cm. With some practice, you will get a feel for how much you will need to let off to reset the trigger. Double taps with .18 splits for competition are a breeze. Will probably be faster once I get it in the full size USP.
