This stock is complete junk and was so poorly designed it did not fit TWO different Remington 700 SA 308s I have on hand, this is imported garbage probably scaled off an airsoft model that doesn't use a real factory Remington 700.

I bought one, had issues, got an exchange from Optics Planet, and the second one has the exact same issues.

First issue - The stock does not come with action screws, and the factory action screws are not long enough to mount the stock with the bedding washers. The only way you can mount the stock with the factory screws is to remove the two metal washers that go under the screw head and prevent the screws from torquing directly into the PLASTIC underbody of the stock shell. With two sets of factory screws in factory stock receivers, the aluminum block is so thick that the front screw does NOT reach the receiver without removing the crush washers, and even then, it looks like I'm only getting about 1.5 to 2 threads into the receiver.

Second issue - The bolt handle relief cut is completely misaligned. The designer decided to make the bolt relief cut on the stock wider than the bolt relief cut on the receiver (good idea), but then located the cut so far back that the front of the stock BLOCKS the bolt handle from closing and the back has so much extra room it looks ridiculous. And because the edges of the plastic stock shell are matched up nearly exactly to the aluminum frame inside, so it's not a simple matter of shaving down the plastic shell, you'd have to grind down on the red aluminum as well if you want your bolt handle to close all the way. Maybe it would fire with the bolt forward and only about 1/3rd closed, but that's a pretty serious safety issue.

Third issue - So I contact Hera USA, thinking that they might want to stand behind their product and make it right. I include several photos showing the stock blocking the bolt handle and explaining how it's misaligned. Their first suggestion is "if you have any wiggle room to slide the action more forward". Now if this sounds dumb to you, it's because it is, you cannot "slide" the receiver front or backwards in the stock, the stock's positioning is determined by the two action screws described earlier and the recoil lug wall, you can't just slide those around forward and back as if the stock was only held in by friction. So it's clear I'm not dealing with a gun guy who knows what he's talking about or has ever mounted one of his own products before. They take pictures of another empty chassis in the warehouse and say, well, if yours looks like this then that means it's not accidently a Howa 1500 footprint one that got mixed into your box (it's not, the Howa 1500 has a very different stock footprint, the inletting is NOT interchangeable), in which case there's nothing we can do for you, we'll send an email to Germany, but otherwise your only other option is to get a refund from Optics Planet, we've never seen this before.

If you think Hera accessories look like airsoft garbage that wasn't tested on real Remington 700 actions, maybe you're right.
