Q's Review of Hi-Lux Optics Tac-Dot 1x 28x19mm Open Reflex Red Dot Sight
Solid build. Clear glass. Large viewing window. The optic is larger than the pictures suggest. It may be a bit cumbersome for carry. This one is one of my favorites and I've tried several brands.
The only issue I've come across is screws. This optic comes with only one set of screws, which may be appropriate for use with a mounting plate. For a direct slide mount, the screws may be too long. I had to cut one of the screws so it wouldn't hit the extractor plunger on a Glock patterned slide. If you don't want to do that, 6-32 1/2 screw may be the size to get.
