N's Review of HIPERFIRE HIPERTOUCH 24 Competition AR Fire-Control Group w/Straight Trigger, 2.5/3.5lb Pull Weight

I got into Steel Challenge a few years ago. I dumped a bunch of money into my old 10/22. It was OK. Made A-class.

Late 2023 bought a Tippmann MMSSA that had an Elftmann drop in match trigger. Not bad.

In mid-2024 I bought a Tippmann RCR 24, after they got rid of the problematic dual firing pin bolt, and immediately dropped this trigger into it, with the 2.5 pound springs.

I liked it so much I dropped one in my older Tippmann and put the lightweight barrel on it, so I more or less built a back up RCR.

Anyways...as of today I'm 3.3 seconds from GM, and I'm old and don't practice much. Awesome trigger. Never fails. Thousands of rounds through both rifles. I usually shoot 1st and 2nd gun with one rifle, and keep the other one in the car for back up. Usually zero issues, occasionally one jam, but no trigger issues. No such thing as a light strike with this trigger.

I'm looking to install one in one of my "real" ARs, probably with the 3.5 pound springs. Maybe the Eclipse if I catch it on sale.

Not that hard to put in. Look up the video on utube from Sean M Tactical. If you have a fixed trigger guard, like the Tippmann, make sure you put the red shoe thingamajigger on right after you drop the trigger through the hole, or you will have to take it all out and start over. I learned that the hard way. Once you get the hang of it, You can install it in 2 minutes.
