BarEnosh's Review of HIPERFIRE HIPERTOUCH 24 3 Gun AR Fire-Control Group w/Curved Trigger

I have a Geissele super 3G on my DDM4 V11 Pro (it came it the trigger). The trigger is great overall but has light strike issues (occasionally, maybe 1x every ~200 rounds or so, with training ammo) and it occasionally bump fires while firing from prone or bench. I read about Hipertouch 24 3G (or C) and decided to give it a try (on sale @ OPP + additional discount from the Chat). Installation was a breeze (it took me ~10 mins to swap the triggers, doing it slow to make sure that the last step of installing the two springs is done correctly). I used the silver springs (2.5 lb). Took it to a training class and fired >600 rounds. No single light strike with training ammo (XM193 Independence, some 62gr as well), no bump fire (prone, low, standing, rapid fire, precise shots). Compared to Geissele S3G, 24 3G has: 1) somewhat lighter pull, 2) somewhat shorter over-travel and reset, 3) both are crisp. Perhaps one thing where Geissele S3G can feel somewhat better for 3-Gunners: while resetting, Geissele tends to "push" the trigger finger forward more. This may help the finger to twitch better for multiple string shots (and perhaps faster). At the same time, however, this may be why bump firing can happen with Geissele for precision shots. Overall both are great triggers but I like Hipertouch 24 3G better for its reliability (no light strikes due to the additional dual hammer spring, smart engineering) and versatility (works so well for precise long-distance shots and rapid fire "CQB")
Pros:
  • Versatility
  • reliability
  • Lighter and crisper trigger pull compared to other single-stage
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Any scenario
