Failed to function reliably - Hogue Smith & Wesson J-Frame Laser Enhanced Round Butt Rubber Monogrip

I was hesitant to purchase hogue grip after reading so many negative reviews regarding contact switch not engaging consistently. I had hoped the problem was resolved and my experience would be different, unfortunately that was not the case and I returned it immediately. Optics planet has a long return processing time and I am still waiting for exchange of Crinson Trace LG 305 more expensive but you get what you pay for.!
