Fit can be iffy - Hogue Rubber Over Molded Stock for Ruger 10/22

The first stock I bought fit perfectly, but when I bought a second one for another gun, the fit was problematic with the barrel hitting the left edge of the barrel cutout near the end. To make it fit properly would have required some rework which I was not willing to do, so I returned it. The first one is absolutely perfect, so I don't know if there is a manufacturing consistency problem, or what. Based on the first one, I would definitely recommend this stock, but am a little put off by the problem with the second one.
